nu3 Launches Organic Aronia Juice

Berlin, April 24, 2015. Stars such as Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez and James Franco swear by the health benefits of superfoods. Now, nu3 – Europe’s market leader for intelligent nutrition – has expanded its product selection to include organic aronia juice.

The fruit of the aronia plant is harvested between August and October. The sun-ripened berries that are selected for nu3’s pure organic aronia juice are grown in certified organic conditions and are immediately juiced after harvesting, ensuring a product with the best taste without any artificial additives, dyes or preservatives and free of gluten and lactose.

The fruit of Aronia melanocarpa is similar to that of the blueberry family. But a glance at its nutritional values reveals that aronia is far superior: Aronia berries are rich in vitamins A, C, E and K and provide the full class of B vitamins. Aronia berries also contain a wealth of minerals: In particular calcium, magnesium and iron are plentiful.

The natural polyphenols that give the fruit its intense violet color are considered especially beneficial. These antioxidants act to protect cells and the immune system. They are capable of neutralizing free radicals that stem from metabolic processes, stress and environmental toxins.

International nutrition scientists have spent years researching the health effects of foods that, like aronia berries, are extremely rich in antioxidants. nu3 organic aronia juice can be served straight from the bottle or mixed with sparkling water as a spritzer.
