Berlin-based Start-up nu3 Now Stocked At Swiss Retail Chain

Berlin, May 15, 2017. The Berlin-based specialist for intelligent nutrition and the Swiss retail company Coop have struck a comprehensive partnership. Starting today, more than 50 nu3 products are available across Switzerland in more than 220 Coop supermarkets. The main focus of the extensive launch is low-carb products, vegan proteins, and functional foods from nu3’s product lines natural foods, health and fitness. This alliance expands nu3’s strong online presence with a broad network of high-traffic retail outlets.

53 nu3 products are now available from the Swiss supermarket chain Coop as part of a comprehensive launch. Selected products from the product lines natural foods, health and fitness will be available in more than 220 Coop supermarkets.

Demand rapidly increasing for healthy, alternative nutrition solutions

The extensive selection of innovative nu3 products is based on current food and nutrition trends. Numerous vegan and low-carb products, healthy snacks and flour substitutes such as coconut, almond and chia flour are part of the product range. In addition, natural alternatives to conventional processed sugar, such as yacon syrup and coconut sugar are available. The selection is topped off with premium superfoods like acai, maca and wheat grass powder.

Consumers are increasingly opting for plant-based meals or consciously seeking alternatives to heavily processed foods. Trends are gravitating toward products that are free from sugar and unhealthy fats and have been processed in a way that retains the food’s nutrients. The product launch at Coop is nu3’s response to this growth in customer demand. “Customer interest in healthy, alternative nutrition has grown very strongly over the last few years.
